RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1996 ALLEY
REHABILITATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO MC GRATH BROTHERS CONCRETE
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with McGrath Brothers Concrete with the estimated total
cost of $361,129.85; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$350,733.43 of which $333,196.75 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $17,536.68; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1996 Alley Rehabilitation Project is hereby accepted,
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
