RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE PB LANE SEWER
REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO BOWLES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Bowles
Construction Company with the estimated total cost of $83,692.65;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $83,692.65 of which
$82,018.79 has been previously paid to the contractor leaving an amount due of
$1,673.86;
WHEREAS, liquidated damages are hereby assessed in the amount of $320.00,
therefore the amount to be paid to the Contractor is $1,353.86; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The PB Lane Sewer Replacement Project is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of April, 1997.
