RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1995 -96 UTILITY PAINTING
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO ASSOCIATED
PAINTING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Associated
Painting Company with the estimated total cost of $124,484.00;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $124,197.00 of which
$121,713.06 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $2,483.94;
and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1995 -96 Utility Painting Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
