RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL FINAL COVER CELL
X -B PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO ZACK
BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Zack Burkett
Company with the estimated total cost of $48,755;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $48,755 of which $31,392
has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $17,363; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Landfill Final Cover Cell X -B Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of April, 1997.
