RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE LEASE OF FORTY-
EIGHT (48) ELECTRIC GOLF CARTS, ONE (1) BEVERAGE CART AND THE
SEMI-ANNUAL LEASE OF TEN (10) ELECTRIC GOLF CARTS FOR WEEKS
PARK GOLF COURSE TO CLUB CAR, INC., ARLINGTON, TEXAS AND
AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for electric golf carts for use at
Weeks Park Golf Course, and;
WHEREAS, four bids were received and opened on April 9, 1997, and;
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Club Car, Inc., Arlington,
Texas whose total bid is $127,314.24 and;
WHEREAS, the lease term is forty-eight months.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1: Club Car, Inc., Arlington, Texas, is hereby awarded the bid for the lease of
forty-eight (48) electric golf carts, one (1) beverage and the semi-annual lease
of ten (10) electric golf carts for Weeks Park Golf Course.
Section 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute contract documents for
same.
