RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE KEMP PUBLIC LIBRARY
REROOF PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO ARMORED ROOFING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract with Armored
Roofing Company with the total cost of $34,820;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $34,820 of which
$25,158 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $7,742
after deducting liquidated damages of $1,920; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Kemp Public Library Reroof Project is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
