RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG TRAVIS STREET
DRAINAGE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO DUKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Duke
Construction Company with the estimated total cost of $41,290;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $44,126.12 of which
$43,243.60 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
$882.52; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Travis Street Drainage Project is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of June, 1997.
