RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER 2 FOR
SOUTHWEST LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Jalyn Construction
Company for the construction of the Southwest Lift Station and Force Main Project;
WHEREAS, in the prosecution of the work, some changes were required that
caused additional work by the Contractor;
WHEREAS, Council has examined the reasons for the additional work and now
desires to approve Change Order 2 for this purpose;
WHEREAS, the value of the additional work is $18,363, bringing the current
contract price of $1,297,771 to a new contract total of $1,316,134; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the proposed Change Order for the
purposes stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order Number 2 for the Southwest Lift Station and Force Main Project is
hereby approved in the amount of $18,363, increasing the contract price to a total of
$1,316,134 and providing two additional days of contract time for the project. The City
Manager is authorized to execute Change Order Number 2.
