A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BIDS FOR STRUCTURES TO BE
DEMOLISHED AS ORDERED AT THE JUNE 3, 1997 PUBLIC HEARING.
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED
BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the demolition of the structures from
the June 3, 1997 public hearing, and three (3) qualified bids were received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. It is found that the lowest, responsible bidders are:
John Hancock Inc./Wichita Falls, Texas $ 5,208.00 ( 4 Structures)
Mote Inc./Wichita Falls, Texas $22,068.00 (22 Structures)
B. M. Strayhorn/Wichita Falls, Texas $ 16,357.00 (19 Structures)
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
