A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS; WAIVING THE DUE DATE OF THE ANNUAL CORPORATE BUDGET OF THE 4A AND 4B SALES TAX CORPORATIONS UNTIL DECEMBER 15, 1997; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, Article IV of the Bylaws of the 4A and 4B Sales Tax Corporations requires that the Boards of Directors submit to the City Council at least 60 days prior to the commencement of each fiscal year the respective board's annual budget; and, WHEREAS, as said boards have just been incorporated and the bylaws approved by the City Council, there is insufficient time to comply with this deadline. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The requirement in the bylaws of the 4A and 4B Sales Tax Corporations requiring submission of the annual budget to the City Council at least sixty days prior to the commencement of each fiscal year of said Corporation is hereby waived for fiscal year 1996- 1997; provided, however, that each Board shall submit its annual budget to the City Council on or before December 15, 1997. SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of July, 1997.
