RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE PHASE I SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENTS COLLECTION SYSTEM LINING PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO CAT CONTRACTING,
INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with CAT
Contracting, Inc. with the total cost of $848,392.75;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $792,023.65 of which
$752,232.47 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $39,791.18;
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Water Development Board must approve the project before final
payment is made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Phase I Sanitary Sewer Improvements Collection System Lining Project is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor, subject
to approval of the Texas Water Development Board.
