Res 124-97 8/19/1997RESOLUTION TO APPROVE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE RED
RIVER AUTHORITY OF TEXAS FOR WATER FACILITY SITES AT LAKE
ARROWHEAD
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Red River Authority of Texas entered
a Lease Agreement dated April 1, 1980 whereby the City [eased to the Authority three
tracts of land for the construction of a water treatment plant and two ground storage
tanks;
WHEREAS, Authority is seeking a new Lease Agreement to facilitate the
expansion of the water treatment plant and water distribution system;
WHEREAS, Authority desires to expand the original three tracts of land for the
construction of the new facilities; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered a proposed Lease Agreement for this

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The said new Lease Agreement between the City of Wichita Falls and Red River
Authority of Texas is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorize to execute
the same for the City.
