RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR 1996-97
BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the 1996-97 Budget Utility Improvements Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Starks Construction
Company, Inc. who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $676,571.80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said unit price bid of Starks Construction Company, Inc., with an estimated total
of $676,571.80 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of September, 1997.
