RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AMENDED FINAL ESTIMATE FOR THE
ARIZONA INTERCEPTOR PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE AMENDED FINAL PAYMENT TO ATKINS BROTHERS EQUIPMENT COMPANY,
INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract wi
Brothers Equipment Company, Inc. with the total cost of $1,826,889.76; th Atkins
WHEREAS, two change orders were approved during the process of
increasing the contract price to $1,844,740.04, the work,
WHEREAS, the City Council on August 5, 1997 passed a resolution rec
the actual work accomplished to be $1,880,073.04 of which we Previously gnizind
$1,833,071.21, and Council authorized a final payment of $47,001.83; usly had paid
WHEREAS, it was subsequently determined that the actual work accomplished
was in error and should have been $1,887,533.04, of which we now have i
$1,880,073.04 leaving an amount due on the amended final payment paid
