Res 150-97 10/7/1997RESOLUTION NO. I RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE REHABILITATION OF LIFT STATIONS 3 AND 29 PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO WICHITA CONTRACTORS, INC. WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Wichita Contractors, Inc. with the estimated total cost of $103,040; WHEREAS, two change orders were approved in amount of $1,666.50, bringing the contract price to $104,706.50; WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $104,706.50 of which $102,067.98 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $2,638.52; and, WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The Rehabilitation of Lift Stations 3 and 29 Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
