RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE PHASE I SANITARY SEWER
COLLECTION SYSTEM PIPE REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO PM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with PM
Construction Company, with the estimated total cost of $969,545;
WHEREAS, Council on January 7, 1997 approved one change order in the
amount of $142,775, bringing the contract price to $1,112,320;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $992,951 of which
$968,127.23 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
$24,823.77; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Phase I Sanitary Sewer Collection System Pipe Replacement Project is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
