RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LAKE KICKAPOO MOTOR STARTER
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO JACK PEIRCE
ELECTRIC COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract with Jack
Peirce Electric Company with the total cost of $71,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $71,500.00 of which
$70,070.00 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
$1,430.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Lake Kickapoo Motor Starter Project is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
