RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE WILLIAMS PARK TRAIL EXTENSION
(CDBG) PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO ZACK
BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Zack
Burkett Company, with the estimated total cost of $132,006;
WHEREAS, Change Orders for the extension of the trail by 695 linear feet added
$48,594.58 for a total estimated contract price of $180,600.58;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $184,132.23 of
which $180,449.59 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $3,682.64; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Williams Park Trail Extension (CDBG) Project is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
