RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1997 STREET RESURFACING
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO ZACK BURKETT
COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Zack
Burkett Company, with the estimated total cost of $439,444.90;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $435,336.01 of
which $426,276.49 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $9,059.52; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1997 Street Resurfacing Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
