RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION
OF KEMP BLVD. BETWEEN NINTH STREET AND SEYMOUR HWY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to reconstruct Kemp Blvd. between
Ninth Street and Seymour Hwy.; and,
WHEREAS, reconstruction of this project has been included in the Intermodal
System and Transportation Efficiency Act program; and,
WHEREAS, Texas. Department of Transportation has prepared an appropriate
contract for this project for consideration by the City of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract with the Texas Department of Transportation for construction of
Kemp Blvd. between Ninth Street and Seymour Hwy. is hereby approved and payment
is authorized to the Texas Department of Transportation in the amount of $100,725.
