RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT WITH BIGGS
& MATHEWS, INC. FOR PHASE 3 OF THE SANITARY SEWER
COLLECTION REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is required by an EPA Administrative Order
to accomplish certain remedial work in the sanitary sewer collection system;
WHEREAS, the work has been defined by an EPA - approved Sanitary Sewer
Evaluation Study;
WHEREAS, two of the three phases in the rehabilitation portion of the work have
been accomplished, and the City now is ready to proceed with the third phase; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to engage the firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. to
provide the engineering services for the stated project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract with the engineering firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. for engineering
services related to the Phase 3 Sanitary Sewer Collection System Rehabilitation Project
is hereby approved with a maximum amount of $205,903 for the base engineering
services. The City Manager is authorized to sign the contract for the City.
