A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROVIDE
ADMINISTRATIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE 4A AND 4B SALES
TAX CORPORATION BOARDS.
WHEREAS, Article IV, Section 3 of the Corporation Bylaws of both the 4A and
4B Sales Tax Corporation Boards provide that "(a)t the request of the Board, the
Council may direct that the books, records, accounts and financial statements of the
Corporation may be maintained for the Corporation by the accountants, staff, and
personnel of the City, and;
WHEREAS, the Bylaws also state that "(i)n such event, the Corporation shall pay
to the City reasonable compensation for such services," and;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that the above - mentioned records be
maintained in the same manner and methods as the City of Wichita Falls provides.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to maintain the books,
records, accounts and financial statements of either the 4A or 4B Corporations or both
upon their request.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to establish reasonable
compensation for such services to the respective Boards based upon direct expenses,
but not indirect costs.
