A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXTEND THE
CONTRACT WITH DONNIE'S BODY SHOP FOR THE TOWING OF VEHICLES
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR ONE YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls Police Department has had a contract with
Donnie's Body Shop for the towing of vehicles for the Police Department for the past three (3)
years; and
WHEREAS, Donnie's Body Shop has done an excellent job in the towing of vehicles for
the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Donnie's Body Shop has indicated to the staff of the Police Department
that they are willing to continue the existing contract for one (1) year as indicated in the current
contract, and,
WHEREAS, it is important that this service continue without interruption;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to extend the current contract for the City with Donnie's
Body Shop for said towing of vehicle for the police department for a period of one (1) year.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 16th day of December, 1997.
