Ordinance No. 59-87
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING THE
PORTION OF LORETTA STREET LYING NORTH OF MISSILE
ROAD, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended
the closure of Loretta Street, lying north of Missile Road;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close,
vacate, and abandon the portion of Loretta Street hereafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The portion of Loretta Street, lying north of
the northern right-of-way line of Missile Road, and south of
the southern lot line of Lot 39, G.L. Friberg Subdivision,
Wichita Falls, Texas, having a right-of-way width of fifty
( 50) feet, and a centerline length of one hundred and twenty
one (121) feet, more or less; is hereby closed, vacated and
abandoned.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon the
filing of a replat of Lots 37, 38, and 39 into one lot, with
the Wichita County Clerk, within one year of the passage of
this ordinance.
