ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 101-84,
AND APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH
WICHITA COUNTY CONCERNING THE PUBLIC HEALTH
DISTRICT TO CHANGE THE QUORUM OF THE PUBLIC
HEALTH BOARD FROM FIVE ( 5) TO FOUR ( 4) .
WHEREAS, it is determined that a majority of voting
members of the Public Health Board of the Wichita Falls-
Wichita County Public Health District at a meeting is
adequate for a quorum.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Ordinance No. 101-84 is hereby amended, in Section 5
thereof, to provide that four voting representatives shall
constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.
An amendment to the cooperative agreement dated April
16, 1985, between the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita
County, which created the Wichita Falls-Wichita County
Public Health District, to change Section 5 thereof to
provide that four voting representatives shall constitute a
quorum for the transaction of business, is hereby a!proved,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute such . n
amendment to said contract.
