ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION
FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION WORK AT THE
FOUR-FIELD SOFTBALL COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, work at the four-field softball complex is
needed in the form of (1) chain link fences and backstops;
( 2) exterior lighting and field electrical; ( 3 ) exterior
utilities - plumbing; and ( 4) concrete; and,
WHEREAS, in order to do such work at the complex,
immediate action is required to make the necessary funds
available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund the
amount of $348,096.00 to be placed in account number
11-451-4391 for the purpose of continuing construction on
the four-field softball complex by the improvements listed
above. This is an emergency expenditure, and this ordin- ce
is declared to be effective immediately upon its passag-
