RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LUCY PARK SWIMMING POOL
RESURFACING PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
WESTMORELAND POOL CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract with
Westmoreland Pool Co. with the total bid price of $23,435.00 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work including change orders amounting to $1,035.00,
was completed at a total cost of $24,470.00 of which $8,762.65 has been previously
paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $15,707.35; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Lucy Park Swimming Pool Resurfacing Project is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
