A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
LEASE AGREEMENT AMENDMENT WITH THE EAST LYNWOOD
RESIDENTS ORGANIZATION, INC., A NON - PROFIT CORPORATION,
AND A NEIGHBORHOOD ACTION GROUP
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has leased the Lynwood East
Community Center to the East Lynwood Residents Organization, Inc. since May 24,
1982, and;
WHEREAS, the East Lynwood Residents Organization, Inc. desires to extend
the lease of the Lynwood East Community Center located in Lynwood East Park, and;
WHEREAS, the City finds that leasing the Lynwood East Community Center to
the East Lynwood Residents Organization is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease amendment with the
East Lynwood Residents Organization, attached as Exhibit A.

LEASE AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
This lease made and entered into as of the 24`h day of May, 1982, by and
between the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and East Lynwood Residents Organization,
Inc., a non - profit corporation and a neighborhood action group, is hereby amended as
follows.
2, The original term for a period of ten (10) years commencing on May 24, 1982,
and ending May 24, 1992, having been concluded, the lessee, East Lynwood Residents
Organization, Inc., is granted a lease extension of ten (10) years commencing on
May 24, 1992 and ending on May 24, 2002. Thereafter this lease agreement will
automatically renew on a month to month basis, unless either party gives prior written
notice of termination of this lease agreement to the other party at least 30 days in
advance.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused these present to be
executed as of January a I 1998.
