RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE NORTH TEXAS OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION TO
PROVIDE OFFICIATING SERVICES FOR SPORTS LEAGUES.
WHEREAS, the provision of effective athletic leagues requires competent
officials; and,
WHEREAS, the North Texas Officials Association has provided effective
officiating services for the City's athletic leagues; and,
WHEREAS, the fees proposed for the officiating services are reasonable and
within the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with the North
Texas Officials Association for the provision of officiating services for the City's athletic
leagues.
