RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE WICHITA FALLS
METROPOLITAN YMCA FOR LICENSE TO USE BALLFIELDS IN
KIWANIS AND JAYCEE PARKS FOR THEIR SUMMER PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Metropolitan YMCA has requested extended
reservation of eleven ballfields in Kiwanis and JayCee Parks for their summer youth
baseball program; and,
WHEREAS, the YMCA will assume more maintenance of the facilities for their
program; and,
WHEREAS, their program continues to provide a benefit for the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a license agreement with the
Wichita Falls Metropolitan YMCA for use of eleven ballfields in Kiwanis and JayCee
Parks for their summer baseball program in 1998.
