RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR LEACHATE
STORAGE IMPOUNDMENT PROJECT AT THE WICHITA FALLS
LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Leachate Storage Impoundment Project at the Wichita Falls Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is L D Kemp
Excavating, Inc., 5409 Denton Hwy., Fort Worth, TX, who submitted a unit price bid for
a total of $219,384.88, based on estimated quantities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said unit price bid of L D Kemp Excavating, Inc., with a total of $219,384.88
based on estimated quantities, is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such
project.
