RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE JASPER STANDPIPE AND DENVER
ELEVATED TANK PAINT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO GROUND UP, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Ground
Up, Inc. with the estimated total cost of $69,569.00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $69,569.00 of which
$68,177.62 has been previously paid to the contract; and,
WHEREAS, the scheduled work went over schedule and six days of liquidated
damages was assessed at $960.00, leaving an amount due of $431.38; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Jasper Standpipe and Denver Elevated Tank Paint Project is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
