A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID FROM COMMUNICATIONS
SERVICE COMPANY FOR THE LEASE OF THIRTY -ONE POLICE RADIOS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES COMPANY FOR THE
LEASE OF THE POLICE RADIOS FOR THREE YEARS.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls Police Department advertised for bids for the
leasing of police radios; and
WHEREAS, Communications Service Company of Wichita Falls, Texas, was the low
bidder at $35.00 per radio per month; and,
WHEREAS, the police department has budgeted money in this years budget for the
leasing of the police radios;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls accepts the bid from Communications Service Company for the
lease of thirty-one police radios and authorizes the City Manager to sign a lease agreement for
the leasing of the police radios for a period of three years.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of April, 1998.
