RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR AN URBAN MOBILITY
PROJECT DESCRIBED AS 7T" STREET RECONSTRUCTION FROM
BROOK AVENUE TO BROAD STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to proceed with a Texas
Department of Transportation project to improve 7th Street between Broad and Brook;
and,
WHEREAS, the required city match be submitted at the time of contract approval
is $70,840; and,
WHEREAS, $74,800 was budgeted in the current fiscal year for the required
local match for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The attached contract with the Texas Department of Transportation for an Urban
Mobility Project described as the 7th Street Improvement from Brook to Broad Street is
hereby approved and an expenditure of $70,840 is authorized at contract execution
with the budgeted balance to be encumbered across the municipal fiscal year.
