RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE TRAVIS STREET RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT (CDBG) AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO SCALES
CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Scales
Concrete Construction Co., Inc., with an estimated total cost of $105,488.15;
WHEREAS, two change orders were approved in the course of the work,
increasing the estimated contract cost to $110,145.85;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $114,208.99 of
which $107,809.74 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $6,399.25; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Travis Street Reconstruction Project (CDBG) is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
