RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF REQUEST FOR
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW FIRE STATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to improve fire protection services
provided to its citizens, and
WHEREAS, the City has acquired three sites for the construction of three new
fire stations which will, when constructed, replace the need of four existing stations now
known as Stations 3, 4, 5 and 7, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to engage the professional services of a qualified
architectural firm.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue Request For Qualifications for
Architectural Services for the Design and Construction of New Fire Stations.
