RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF LEASE OF A PORTION
OF WEEKS PARK KNOWN AS FUNLAND TO ERNIE A. BAKER.
WHEREAS, Jimmy Hoggard, the present lease holder of a portion of Weeks
Park known as Funland, wishes to discontinue operation of Funland and requests the
City authorize transfer of the lease to Ernie A. Baker; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to continue to facilitate a children's
amusement attraction in this portion of Weeks Park; and,
WHEREAS, Ernie A. Baker has submitted an operation proposal that is
acceptable to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The lease of a portion of Weeks Park known as Funland to Jimmy Hoggard is
hereby transfered to Ernie A. Baker.
