A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPOINTING LARRY GILLEN MUNICIPAL JUDGE FOR
A TERM OF TWO YEARS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS DISCUSSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Larry Gillen's current term as Wichita Falls Municipal Judge will
expire on May 21, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Gillen has expressed a desire to serve in this capacity for
another two -year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby consents to such appointment of Larry
Gillen as Wichita Falls Municipal Judge for a term of two years, beginning
May 21, 1998.
SECTION 2. It is officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
