RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1997 ALLEY REHABILITATION
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO MC GRATH
BROTHERS CONCRETE
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with McGrath
Brothers Concrete with an estimated total cost of $265,727.00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $269,230.83 of
which $263,846.21 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $5,384.62: and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1997 Alley Rehabilitation Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
