RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE GRACE STREET RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO BARNETT PAVING
AND SEALING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Barnett
Paving and Sealing with an estimated total cost of $50,250.00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $46,770.02 of which
$25,984.57 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
$20,785.45; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Grace Street Reconstruction Project is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
