RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CYPRESS ELECTRICAL
IMPROVEMENTS (PHASE 1) PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO BEST ELECTRIC COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Best
Electric Company, Inc. with the estimated total cost of $19,836.00;
WHEREAS, during the process of work, one change order was approved in the
amount of $412.24, increasing the estimated contract price to $20,248.24;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $20,248.24 of which
$19,439.28 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of
$808.96; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Cypress Electrical Improvements (Phase 1) Project is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
