A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH KUSTOM SIGNALS, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF 21 IN-
CAR VIDEO SYSTEMS FOR USE IN MARKED POLICE VEHICLES.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls Police Department received a $210,761 grant from
the Bureau of Justice Assistance for the purchase of some specialized police equipment and for
overtime in policing high crime areas of the city; and
WHEREAS, some of the specialized police equipment that is to be purchased are 21 In-
Car Video Systems for use in marked police vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, the vendor, Kustom Signals, Inc., is under state contract to supply such
specialized police equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to sign a contract with Kustom Signals, Inc. for the
purchase of the 21 In-Car Video Systems for use in marked police vehicles.
