RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR 1998 STREET
RESURFACING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the 1998 Street Resurfacing Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Zack Burkett Co.
who made a unit price bid with a total of $507,635.80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said unit price bid of Zack Burkett Co. with a total of $507,635.80 is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with
said contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of July, 1998.
