RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE 1998
STREET RESURFACING PROJECT; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls under the Unit Price Contract with Zack
Burkett Company with the estimated total cost $507,635.80; and
WHEREAS, certain trails within Lucy Park require resurfacing; and
WHEREAS, the City staff concurs that the changes are required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 1 for the 1998 Street Resurfacing Project in the
amount of $6,720.00 is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 with the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of September, 1998.
