RESOLUTION AMENDING THE OPERATIONS AGREEMENT WITH
THE RIVER BEND NATURE WORKS BOARD INCREASING THE
BOARD MEMBERSHIP FROM 11 TO 15 MEMBERS ; DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the River Bend Nature Works Board is responsible for the success
of the organization; and
WHEREAS, significant work is necessary to be performed by the members of the
Board through committees; and
WHEREAS, additional members will allow more successful committee work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The River Bend Nature Works Board is hereby increased from 11
to 15 members; the City Manager will appoint seven members, the Junior League will
appoint seven members, and one member will be appointed by both to three years
terms.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1St day of September, 1998.
