RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR LAKE KICKAPOO
BOOSTER PUMP STATIONS MCC REPLACEMENT PROJECT;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Lake Kickapoo Booster Pump Stations MCC Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Groves Electric
Company who make a unit price bid with an estimated total of $146,737.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Groves Electric Company, with an estimated
total of $146,737.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1 st day of September, 1998.
