Res 128-98 9/1/1998RESOLUTION NO. �y RESOLUTION DECLARING 50 VACANT LOTS AS EXCESS REAL PROPERTY AND DIRECTING THE LAND TO BE SOLD BY SEALED BIDS; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reduce the inventory of real property acquired from delinquent tax suits; and WHEREAS, fifty (50) vacant lots have been identified as excess, and it is in the public interest to return these parcels to private ownership. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1.
