RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 1998 -99 BUDGET FOR THE
WICHITA FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (4A
SALES TAX); DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors for the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation met on August 4, 1998 and approved a proposed budget for FY 1998 -99 ;
and
WHEREAS, the By -laws of the Corporation stipulate that the City Council shall
approve the Corporation's budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The proposed budget of the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation for Fiscal Year 1998 -99 is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18`h day of August, 1998.
