RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR PUMP
CONTROL VALVE SYSTEMS FOR ARROWHEAD RAW WATER PUMP
STATION; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the delivery of
Pump Control Valve Systems for Arrowhead Raw Water Pump Station; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the only responsible bidder is GA Industries, Inc.,
who made a lump sum bid with a total of $134,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said lump sum bid of GA Industries, Inc., with a total of
$134,000.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of August, 1998.
