RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR PHASE 3
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS COLLECTION SYSTEM LINING
PROJECT; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Phase 3 Sanitary Sewer Improvements Collection System Lining Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is BRH- Garver, Inc.
who made a unit prove bid with an estimated total of $202,430.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of BRH - Garver, Inc. with an estimated total of
$202,430.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 4th day of August, 1998.
